Hank Johnson worked in his families puppet show for a sum of 20 years. He performed all over Southern Texas since the age of 7. He was so funny and worked as a puppeteer,actor,stage manager,set builder. He brought love and lots of smiles to families. His heart was drawn to the children. He told the crew that was where the magic happened out there with the kids. Watch their smiles he said it makes it all worth it. It was hard work but he did it effortless. He never changed character in front of the children. He performed over 75 different characters in the musical show. Caveman,Pirate,Space Alien,Elf,Vampire,Zombie,Baby,Austalian Zoo Keeper,Farmer, Astonaught,Prince,London Bobby,Fireman,Clown Ring Master,etc. But the one he created himself was "Steve The Bad" the backwards cowboy. He ate raffle tickets,ran circles holding tight to the candy at first. Then he had to run from the kids because they were on to him. He threw confetti, silly string, hay, what ever he could find. And they chased him down and thew it back at him. lol. He tried to eat a rubber chicken sandwich. His slap stick humor was hilaroius. His forward kick and skip along was amazing. They watched him intensely to see what he was going to do next. What was Hank going to do NEXT! We didn't know at all. lol. That was our Hank. But tragically the night of July 10 bullies and robbers came to his room and killed him over a guitar. Please stop the violence. No bullies! His murder is still unsolved............ Honor ...
